If your pet has a problem during our surgery hours then please call the practice immediately and our reception team will ensure that you are offered an appointment as a priority basis. Please make it clear that the matter is not routine and we will do our utmost to see you at the earliest opportunity.

The fees we charge will depend on the exact treatment or care your pet requires. Estimates can be given on request before any treatment plan is started.

We try to keep our prices as affordable as possible whilst also being able to provide and maintain high standards of medical and surgical facilities.

All fees are payable in full at the time of treatment or upon discharge if your pet is an in-patient. We may ask for a deposit prior to any major treatments.

We accept payments by Cash, American Express, Delta, Mastercard or Visa, and Switch.

Repeat prescriptions are avaliable from this practice.

You may obtain Presciption only Medication, Category V (POM-V’s) from the veterinary surgeon or you may ask for a written prescription and obtain these medicines from another veterinary surgery or pharmacy.

The veterinary surgeon may prescribe POM-V’s only for animals under their care.

A prescription may not be appropriate if your animal is an inpatient or immediate treatment is necessary.

You will be informed, on request, of the price of any medication that may be despensed for your animal.

If your animal is on permanent medication it is the policy of this practice to re-assess the patient every 3 or 6 months (depending on the medication), but this may also vary with individual circumstances. There is a charge for this consultation, please ask at reception for details.
