We stock a broad range of flea control products for all pets and can advise or demonstrate their use to clients who are unsure as to which product is the most appropriate.
Some of the older flea products and especially the ‘off prescription’ products are far less effective than they used to be. The newer and best products are generally Prescription Only Medications (POM’s) and are only available from the vet practice. However, they are usually vastly superior in ease of application, effect and range of parasites killed.
We now have products that will cover fleas and worms with one simple application, a flea and tick tablet that lasts 3 months, even a flea injection for cats that lasts 6 months. There are many other options that we can advise you on if you are uncertain which product would suit your circumstances.
